We are proud supporters of our local county’s animal shelter, Northwest SPCA. We offer half price exams for recently adopted dogs and cats from Northwest SPCA!

Morningside Animal Hospital turned 1 year old! Thank you to all who came to celebrate with us as we marked one year since opening our doors as Chico's newest locally owned veterinary hospital.
So much has happened in our first year. It has been our honor to care for a whirlwind of fresh and familiar faces coming through our doors, and to connect with so many others through our on-site and community events. We even placed 2nd in the category of Best Veterinarian in this year's Best of Chico voting! Most importantly, we are continuing to grow and improve to serve our community. Our newly expanded team is excited to keep bringing compassionate, personalized gold service care to more than 1,000 animals and counting!
We hope you enjoyed touring our facility and chatting with our owner Dr McGann, our new associate veterinarian Dr. Crowson and more members of our all-star team. We were very excited to reveal our beautiful new lobby mural painted by our brand manager, Heather. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing so many of our human and canine friends, sharing treats, and connecting with each other.
DOOR PRIZE DRAWINGS - Congratulations to everyone who won free pet products and clinic services in our door prize drawings! Every person received a door prize ticket upon entry, and many folks earned more tickets through such activities as writing an online review or booking an appointment. Two Grand Prizes were given away - one dental cleaning and one free spay or neuter of a dog or cat! Clients also won 6 months of flea/tick/heartworm prevention, a combo disease test, and a senior panel test. Each prize must be redeemed during an exam with us as an established patient, and must be redeemed within four months (by 3/8/26.)
